Strasbourg, a unique city located in the Alsace region along the Rhine River, is a tourist’s dream come true. Of the many places to go and sights to see, we have selected a collection of the most important and interesting landmarks and venues for you to explore. The sites are appropriate for all types of tourists’ interests and include many highlights for children.

We will take you on an adventure through the city known as Venice of the North, a charming historic town surrounded by canals. With a history of being fought over between Germany and France, the Alsace city now smoothly blends both cultures, creating an atmosphere along the Rhine unlike any other French city. Walking around, you will feel as if you’ve been lost in a fairy-tale when passing through some of the historic neighborhoods which perfectly maintain their old-world feeling. Our tour will guide you through the many sites that make Strasbourg special and you will have the opportunity to see all that it has to offer.

Strasbourg is a city of museums, and every first Sunday of the month admission into all museums are free. Our tour highlights some of the best and most popular museums for you to visit while here. In addition, we have also included stunning royal architecture, some of Europe’s most impressive cathedrals, quaint photogenic neighborhoods and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Our tour guides you down fantastic pedestrian streets where you can find great restaurants and shopping, to galleries where you can see art from local artists over the ages as well as a few different options for parks to relax in after a long day of walking. Strasbourg is rich in history and our tour makes sure you leave satisfied and fulfilled.

While in Strasbourg, make sure to spend time wandering the Grand Île, the island where the historic center of the city is located.  Here you can fully immerse yourself in the personality of what was once Strasbourg, with cobblestone roads and a rainbow of different colored buildings and homes. It is also the convenient location where many of our points of interest are located.

And of course, for all of the foodies and travelers who enjoy tasting local delicacies, you must not leave Strasbourg without trying some of the locals' favorites! Strasbourg is an absolute delight for food lovers and those who appreciate wine. The Alsace region is famous for its wine and we highly recommend you enjoy the local grapes.

You can use our guide to discover Strasbourg on foot, by transportation or by bike, one of the most popular forms of moving around the city. Strasbourg is a very bike friendly city and with it being so small and condensed, there isn’t anywhere that you can’t reach on a bicycle in fifteen minutes.

On our tour, we will explore many different attractions and museums, some of which are free of cost and others that require admission. During our tour, if you are interested in spending more time at one attraction or popping into a café for a bite to eat, just stop our audio guide and continue it afterwards, picking up where you left off. We are here to guide and assist you in the city whenever you need us.

We also have discounted tickets and fast track lane passes available for many of the sites we have included for you. For these reduced prices, please check at the end of the text as there will be a link included if available. Also, remember to check ahead of time on the attraction’s website for guided English tours if you desire to join one.
